Lake Weekend

A couple weekends ago some dear friends of ours invited us to their condo out at Possum Kingdom Lake.  I wouldn't necessarily consider it to be a relaxing weekend given our rambunctious children, but nonetheless it was great to get out of the big D and experience the beauty of the lake.

Both kids experienced their first boat ride, we went swimming, and dressed our precious boys in matching outfits. :-)  Thank you again to C & J for putting up with our crazy family!!

3 Months Old

Like how I said there would be more to come after the 2 month post a couple weeks ago?  Yeah.  No time for this Mama to blog.  Plus I'm going through this whole blogging dilemma where I want my blog to feel like it's "me" and be representative of who I am as a person, but I feel like it can't be that unless I write what's in my heart - and at the end of the day I don't want to be that vulnerable on the internet for all the world to see.  So for now it probably works out that I'm too busy to regularly keep up with this little site of mine anyways...

C is now 3 months old and is a great night sleeper...

...but a terrible napper.  Tired baby!

Sometimes he falls asleep in the swing.  And yes - we have been told by several people on different occasions that he's comparable to the Michelin marshmallow man:

He still has red / auburn hair (this happened to be an amazing mohawk day)...

...and handsome blue eyes with long eyelashes!

He likes baths...

...and morning walks with big sis:

Elmo and baby also enjoy going for walks in our double stroller:

He tried the bumbo for the first time recently...

...and still enjoys hanging out in the pack and play:

He also likes to take self portraits with Mom...

...and likes to surf the net with Dad...

...and likes to talk on B's Elmo phone:

He recently met Uncle Bubbie for the first time...

...and Uncle Rich too:

He also had his first boat ride this weekend during a trip to the lake with friends.  More to come...if I ever get around to it...
